Tips to help select reception furniture for offices

Every office has three distinct zones - a reception, a working area and executive offices for high ranking officials. All these three zones of the office need separate office design patterns, as the requirements and the type of work done in these areas is completely different.

The reception area of an office is the most important area as it is the place where all visitors are met. The appearance of the reception area of an office determines many factors about the office. Important clients, business collaborators, financers - all get a first impression of the company by the look of the reception area.

Therefore decorating the reception of an office with utmost care is very essential. Reception desks play an important role in determining the look of the whole reception area. Reception desks are available in a variety of designs, dimensions, colours and finishes.

Selection of reception desks must be done according to the availability of space. If the reception area is long but has limited width, a straight reception desk must be chosen. If the reception area is large and spacious, three sided reception desks with beautiful curves can be selected.

Reception chairs must complement the reception desks in a perfect manner. Reception seating should be comfortable and spacious so that all visitors can easily be accommodated.
