Designing an executive office space

Designing an executive office is a little bit different from designing regular offices. There are a number of reasons for this. One is that an executive overlooks a wide range of different activities and therefore is likely to need a good deal of desk space. Another difference is that executives may regular hold meetings in there office, so you must account for this likelihood. In an aesthetic sense, you may want your executive office to give off a more executive feel too.

The desk you use in your executive office is really important. Large desks often work better for executives because they provide more space for busy directors to take on a lot of different tasks. You can also find office desks that are designed so that those the executive is meeting with can sit on the opposite side of the desk comfortably and a meeting can take place.

Office chairs are obviously of great importance too. When an executive sits at their desk they want to feel completely comfortable and ready to get down to business. Look for large office chairs with adjustable heights that provide the best support possible when using computers, phones and holding discussions with clients and members of staff.
