Everyone who works in an office needs a desk, or at least access to one, at some point during the working day, the use of desks can vary, some need them for a computer, a phone, paperwork, some people just need one for storage. There are so many desks on the market it can be hard to choose the right one. Desks come in a huge variety of shapes and sizes, some with draws, some can be adapted for those who have back problems, some are stylish whilst some are very plain and some seat more than one person. For the majority of office workers most of their working hours are spent sat at desks so it’s crucial that you choose the right one for yourself and your employees.
Office desks can also vary widely in terms of price, they can start at as little as £50.00 and rise up to as much as £500 plus depending on how much you want to spend. There are many factors which will affect the price including size, material, facilities and style. Many colleagues who suffer back from problems such as bad backs and arthritis are now having desks made to measure to ensure a comfortable working space.
